Scared Triclops Dog

This was an assignment for a Lighting and Composition class at the University of Texas at Dallas in Spring 2021, using Maya and Arnold for the render and Nuke for the compositing. I was given the choice of 3 cartoon alien characters, each with their own premade happy, sad, and scared poses, and had to choose 2 of them (each with a different pose) to set up "hero lighting" for. This was one of my two choices. The character (including the rig and the pose) is property of the University of Texas at Dallas.

The backdrop is a photo I found on the internet; I would credit the author, but the image is found in at least 20 different places, so it's hard to know who the original author is.
